Hi! I’m Viggo Appel, a 25-year-old freelance filmmaker and photographer with a passion for turning ideas into visual stories. I studied Audiovisual Specialist at Grafisch Lyceum Rotterdam before continuing my education with a one-year bachelor's programme at Newcastle College. Those experiences shaped my approach to filmmaking and taught me how powerful the connection between image, sound, and emotion can be—and I’ve been obsessed ever since.

Today, alongside my freelance work, I’m a full-time cameraman and editor at QuickWorks, where I continue to develop my skills by working on a wide range of productions. Combining commercial experience with personal creative projects allows me to bring both technical expertise and a fresh perspective to every production.

Music has always played a big role in my life, and I love exploring the synergy between film and sound. The right track can transform a moment, elevate a scene, and make a story unforgettable. That mix of visuals and music inspires much of my work.
